Why Daughter In Laws dislike their Mother In Laws

POISON

Too toxic a subject I guess. Well some facts are toxic and they have
to be accepted. Especially, if it’s part of our daily lives. We have
been reading and watching a lot of news on climate change. We
are even experiencing it LIVE. This simply proves how dangerous
poison can be to the mankind in whole.
There are a lot of measures being taken by the world leaders to
ensure that we are able to save the planet from the pollution and
the gases which are acting as poison to destroy our planet. Now
who’s responsible for the pollution? Is it the factories, cars or
something else? The question to ask is who is running the factories
or using the cars? HUMANS, of course it’s us. The Human Beings
who have become trend followers rather than trend setters are
running in life without even thinking about where they are
headed.

I am sure many of us have become aware that we need to do
something to change the environment, but how will the change
come? The only solution is shift in the consciousness of the

human mind. Self-change can bring about world change. We will
look at one such change which is required.

Tale that tells
Long ago, in a small village lived a mother with her son in a small
home. The mother was sweet but also dominant sometimes as old
people are usually. Not the fault of the lady but it tough to change
the nature in the old age. As she was getting older, she decided to
get her son married.

Finally the marriage took place and the family of two became the
family of 3. The boy and the girl loved each other a lot. After the
marriage was done, the boy resumed office after a few days. Once
the boy went to office, the 2 people i.e. the mother in law and the
daughter in law were left in the house. As the mother in law was
old, she needed a lot of attention and would keep asking the
daughter in law to keep doing something or the other. This
happened for a few months but the daughter in law was starting
to lose patience as she was working throughout the day and if she
made any mistake then she would get shouted by mother in law.
Her frustration was rising.

One day she finally decided that she had enough and wanted to
get rid of the old lady. She wanted to kill her so that the
frustration ends. She approached a saint who was also a doctor of
sorts and narrated the entire story. The saint understood the
entire situation and gave her a medicine. He said that it was
poison but won’t work immediately as its slow poison. He
explained her that if it worked immediately then the doubt would
go on her. He also instructed that she also needs to think
and act good to her mother in law so that she takes the medicine.

The daughter in law agreed and hurried back home feeling happy.
She started doing exactly as ordered and started doing all that was
said with more enthusiasm. As she started acting good, her
thoughts started changing slowly. Looking at this change, the
mother in law was happy and started appreciating her daughter in
law in front of everyone. This started improving her relationships
and she suddenly realized what she was doing.

She now wished that her mother in law lives longer and becomes
healthy. She went back to the same saint and told him that she
didn’t want her mother in law to die but live longer. She asked for
another medicine to revert back the effect of the poison. The saint
listened patiently and then said “That is wonderful but let me tell
you that the medicine I gave you was for her good health only”.
Listening to this the daughter in law was surprised. The saint said
that the poison was not in the medicine but in your mind. She
understood her wrong feelings and apologized.

She went back home, all happy and the relationship moved ahead
happily ever after.

Conclusion: Keep a check on your mind and you will hate none.
Start looking at the good in all and the bad will disappear.

Our decisions in life are influenced by our past experiences,
feelings and our attitude towards things. We don’t understand,
but our thoughts travel faster than words. The best example of
thoughts travelling is telepathy, isn’t it? We are thinking of
someone and we get a call.

Let’s understand that we have met each other for a reason and
the reason is to settle our karmic accounts. Each action of ours is
the responsibility of the self. We can either have bad or negative
feelings and continue our lives killing ourselves inside or look to
change ourselves.

The best mantra is “Forgive and Forget”. Try this in every situation
and with every person to experience how light you will feel inside.
All the health problems are now originating from the mind.

Let’s start to take control of our minds and feelings so that we can
lead a fulfilling life.
