A life without being connected on social media can be a horrifying thought for anyone of us. As our life has got busier, the only way to stay connected is social media so being disconnected is just out of question.
Some of the social media apps or site that we access can be seen below. We may be using all or at least few of these almost everyday.
- Google +
- YouTube
Reason: All these take us external all the time and we keep finding ourselves with these associations but we keep losing energy instead.
Now What?
Do we stop being connected? Will this help? No, definitely not. I will never suggest you disconnect completely. Just make some small changes. You can use all of these apps even if you have been not using them until now.
Lets look at the new perspective now.
Tweet sounds like a voice of a bird, isn’t it? The sweetest voice of the birds chirp happens early in the morning and listening to that sweet voice and waking up makes us feel so good. So wake up early to the tweet of the birds or maybe set an alarm tone with the sweet sound of birds that wakes you up. So here is using twitter to start with.
Almost all of us are on Facebook, the favourite social media site worldwide. After you have woken up to the sounds of the birds, use Facebook. Oh no just wait. Let me tell you about using Facebook.
- Get out of the bed
- Go in front of the mirror
- Have a bright smile on your face
- Speak to yourself 5 sentences
This is how to use Facebook. After all everyday is a new chapter in our book called LIFE, so lets
make our face worth seeing and make our life worth reading.
Google +
Now lets move on to Google + and see what to do. Google sounds more like gargle isn’t it? So gargle your mouth with some water and rinse well. Now the plus means to brush your teeth and enjoy brushing them so that it awakens your senses. Now you are all awake. Wow 3 apps and you are already fresh. So this is about Google + (Oops I mean Gargle + Brush)
Next comes Instagram. Well Instagram is all about pictures. I am sure fitness is the number one priority for everyone. After all Healthy Body and Healthy Mind both is required, so Instagram means Instantly wear your sporting shoes and go for a run to shed some grams off your body. You can run, exercise or do yoga, choice is yours. Just do it instantly and get those grams off and stay fit. So lets gets some Instagram (I mean exercise)
Once you have focused enough of gathering enough self energy, its time to WhatsApp, I mean get connected to the external world. You can WhatsApp or maybe ask what’s up to everyone around you. Maybe pickup the phone and do a what’s up on a call. After all calling is much better than messaging. I am sure no one would mind with call rates dropping very low, as good as nothing. So this is about WhatsApp. Actually its a combination of WhatsApp and What’s Up. What Say?
Its time to move out of the house and make multiple contacts through the day. Stay Linked with all as nothing can be done alone. We all need to use each others qualities and skills to get the work done so being linked with each other is very important. However, the other aspect this is IN can also not be avoided. While you are Linked, do take some time out in the day to look IN (within) to see if your energy levels are maintained. Maybe some silence can help.
A good time for Silence can be
- While having some water
- While having Lunch
- Maybe between 2 tasks

We love watching videos as they are very interactive in nature and very colourful. Colours calm down our senses and voice makes us connect to the content. Once back from work, a good way to unwind is to watch something which helps you feel good. With so much of stress and YOU facing all the challenges of life, its important to choose what to watch on the tube
(Television).
On TV you may watch
- Comedy Shows
- Sports (Not WWE)
- Cartoons
- Spirituality
This is the final app before sleeping. OMG, you almost learnt how to use each app in the right way. Whoa that’s awesome. Ok so about Pinterest, there are 2 things. Firstly pin down the good and the not so good about the day. I mean what was done well and what needs improvement. Now make a plan about how will you make a better version of yourself by pinning a plan down in a diary which you can refer to later.
Once you finish pinning down everything, its time to rest.
Woo Hoo! If you can learn to use this new perspective, I am sure you will enjoy your social life all the more.
